Standalone Tenants Liability Insurance
The policy will offer the following basis of settlement following damage caused by you:
- replace the damaged landlord’s property as new;
- pay for cost of replacing the damaged item as new;
- pay the cost of repairing the item;
- home is a domestic dwelling with its garages and domestic outbuildings.
Tenants Liability Insurance -6 Months: £55.00 Including fees and IPT
Premium is based on October 2019 and subject to change
6 Months Policy offers you up to a limit of £5000 for accidental damage for which you are legally responsible as a tenant whilst in the home situated in the United Kingdom noted on the schedule. Settlement can be repair or replacement.
Exclusions
Excess £100.
- Any other damage caused by Fire, Lightning, Earthquake, Storm, Flood, Theft, Attempted Theft, Malicious Act, Subsidence, Landslip and Heave is not insured.
- Property must not be unoccupied for more than 30 days.
- Does not cover a set/pairs/common design if only 1 in that set/pair damaged.
- Damage to Motor vehicles etc are excluded.
- Damage caused by domestic pets/insects & vermin not covered.

IMPORTANT: The insured property must be the policyholder’s main residence and must be within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man; The policyholder is a tenant of the home by virtue of a tenancy agreement
